AI Features ​

Once configured, AI utilities are available throughout the editor and search systems.

1. AI Chat Panel ​

Ask questions about your notes, outline new articles, or search for information:

  1. Open the Command Palette (Ctrl + K).
  2. Run Open AI Chat Panel.
  3. Type your prompt. The chat assistant is aware of your workspace context and references relevant files.

2. AI Palette Actions ​

Refactor or rewrite text inside the editor:

  1. Highlight the target text selection in the Markdown editor.
  2. Press Ctrl + Space or right-click and select AI Actions.
  3. Choose an action from the palette:
    • Summarize: Condenses selection into bullets.
    • Improve Readability: Smooths grammar and phrasing.
    • Change Tone: Switch to Professional, Casual, or Technical.
    • Translate: Translate text to other languages.

3. Semantic Search & Clustering ​

  • Intent Matching: Search finds notes matching conceptual intent even if keywords differ.
  • Graph Grouping: The Workspace Graph groups notes dynamically based on topics, highlighting related subject clusters.
  • Freshness Indicator: The status bar shows whether semantic indexes are up-to-date or require a rebuild.
